Organic-Inorganic Compound Fertilizer有机无机复混肥料

An organic-inorganic compound fertilizer is made by adding organic material to inorganic nutrients. It combines the readily available nutrients of a chemical fertilizer with the soil-improving effect of an organic fertilizer. Organic matter content and total nutrient content are two parallel core indicators.

Key points

  • Organic matter and total nutrients must be declared separately and must not be counted into one another — the most frequent labelling violation for this product type.
  • Unlike simple blending, organic-inorganic compound fertilizers are normally granulated, which places higher demands on the maturity of the organic material and on mixing uniformity.
  • The source of the organic material — manure, straw, humic substances — directly affects the product's heavy metal and hygiene indicators, which are key targets of market inspection.
  • Under GB 18382-2021, a fertilizer containing organic matter must not count that organic matter in the total nutrient content and must declare it separately.
