Paradeep Phosphates Limited, incorporated in 1981, is India's second-largest private-sector phosphatic fertilizer company with a total capacity of 3.0 million tonnes per year. The Paradeep unit in Odisha, with 1.8 million tonnes of capacity, produces DAP and various NPK grades, while the Goa unit adds 1.2 million tonnes of NPK and urea capacity. The company is promoted by Zuari Agro Chemicals of the Dr. K K Birla group and OCP Group of Morocco, which jointly hold 56.1 percent through Zuari Maroc Phosphates Pvt Ltd.

For the financial year ended March 2025 the company reported revenue from operations of INR 13,820 crore, up 19 percent, EBITDA of INR 1,367 crore, up 91 percent, and a 452 percent surge in profit after tax, on record fertilizer sales of 3.03 million tonnes, up 20 percent, and production of 2.63 million tonnes, up 14 percent.

The company sells to more than 9.5 million farmers through over 95,000 retailers across 15 states under the Jai Kisaan and Navratna brands. N-20 sales crossed 1.06 million tonnes, the highest ever, and nano fertilizer sales reached 1.66 million bottles. Net debt to equity improved to 0.78, a 28 percent reduction, and expansion projects at Paradeep include a sulphuric acid plant upgrade from 1.39 to about 2 million tonnes due by the third quarter of FY2026.
