Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Limited, established in 1979 and headquartered in Pune, produces fertilizers, crop nutrition products and industrial and mining chemicals. The company is listed on the National Stock Exchange under the ticker DEEPAKFERT and has been restructuring its core businesses into three legal entities to sharpen focus across crop nutrition, mining chemicals and industrial chemicals.

For the fiscal year ended March 2025 the company reported operating revenue of INR 10,274 crore, up 18 percent, EBITDA of INR 1,925 crore, up 50 percent at a margin of 19 percent, and net profit of INR 945 crore, more than double the prior year. Specialty products rose to 22 percent of revenue from 17 percent a year earlier.

The crop nutrition business crossed 1 million tonnes in bulk fertilizer sales for the first time in FY2025, led by the Mahadhan brand across cotton, soybean, paddy and corn, while the premium specialty product LDAN grew sales volume by 15 percent for the year. The crop nutrition portfolio spans bulk fertilizers and water-soluble specialty grades.

Two capacity projects underpin the next phase: a technical ammonium nitrate plant at Gopalpur, Odisha, which was 75 percent complete at the end of FY2025, and a nitric acid project at Dahej, 48 percent complete. Net debt stood at INR 3,305 crore with net debt to EBITDA of 1.72 times.
