Dhanuka Agritech Limited

Dhanuka Agritech Limited is an Indian agri-input company headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana. Its present corporate form dates to 2007, when Dhanuka Pesticides Ltd. and Northern Minerals Ltd. merged to form Dhanuka Agritech, building on a business established in 1980. The company markets herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and biological products for crops including cotton, paddy, wheat, sugarcane, pulses, fruits and vegetables, and plantation crops.

A defining feature of the business is its licensing model with global innovators: collaborations include Sumitomo Chemical of Japan since 1997, Nissan Chemical of Japan since 2000, Hokko Chemical Industry of Japan since 1998 and DuPont of the United States since 1992. In January 2025 the company completed a INR 165 crore acquisition of the international rights to two fungicide actives, Iprovalicarb and Triadimenol, together with the Melody trademark, from Bayer AG, extending its reach to more than 20 countries across Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

As of 31 March 2025 Dhanuka operated four manufacturing units and 41 warehouses in India. For the financial year ended March 2025 it reported revenue of INR 2,035.15 crore, up 16 percent year on year, with profit after tax of INR 296.96 crore. A technical manufacturing facility at Dahej, Gujarat, commissioned in FY2024, generated INR 40 crore of revenue in FY2025.
