Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited

Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), founded in 1967 and headquartered in New Delhi, is a farmers' cooperative that was ranked first among the world's top 300 cooperatives by the World Cooperative Monitor of the International Cooperative Alliance. It operates fertilizer plants at Kalol, Kandla, Phulpur, Aonla and Paradeep, and has extended its portfolio into nano fertilizers, water-soluble fertilizers, bio-fertilizers and specialty nutrients.

In the financial year 2023-24 IFFCO plants produced 88.95 lakh tonnes, equal to about 8.90 million tonnes, of fertilizer, including 48.85 lakh tonnes of urea and 40.10 lakh tonnes of NPK, DAP, water-soluble and specialty fertilizers. The cooperative sold 112.26 lakh tonnes of fertilizer across India and dispatched 113.06 lakh tonnes nationwide. Its nano range reached scale during the year, with sales of 2.04 crore bottles of Nano Urea Liquid and 44 lakh bottles of Nano DAP Liquid, and profit before tax was expected to be around ₹3,000 crore.

The cooperative holds international ventures including Jordan India Fertiliser Company, Oman India Fertiliser Company and Industries Chimiques du Sénégal, and holds a 34 percent equity share in Indian Potash Limited. Its plants carry integrated ISO management system certifications, and it has installed 6.45 MWp of solar capacity across its locations.
