Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited, incorporated in 1962 at Vadodara as India's first joint-sector industrial complex, is an integrated producer of fertilizers and industrial chemicals. The fertilizer portfolio covers urea, ammonium sulphate, ammonium phosphate sulphate, DAP and NPK grades, while the industrial products portfolio includes caprolactam, melamine, nylon-6 and methanol. The company is listed on the National Stock Exchange under the ticker GSFC.

For the financial year ended March 2025 the company reported standalone revenue from operations of INR 9,429 crore, up 6 percent, with profit before tax of INR 740 crore, up 11 percent, and profit after tax of INR 573 crore, up 9 percent. On a consolidated basis revenue from operations was INR 9,534 crore with profit after tax of INR 591 crore.

Fertilizer production rose about 15 percent to 16.46 lakh tonnes in FY2025, and total fertilizer sales volume, including traded products, reached 19.88 lakh tonnes. The year operated in a challenging cost environment with elevated prices of sulphur, sulphuric acid and P2O5, and a revamped Urea-II plant returned to full operation. The board recommended a dividend of INR 5 per equity share for the year.
