Sharda Cropchem Limited, incorporated in 2004 and headquartered in Mumbai, is a generic crop protection company. Its business model is registration-led: the company prepares dossiers and holds registrations in its own name, then markets formulations through distributors, primarily in Europe, North America and Latin America.

As of 31 March 2025 the company held 2,964 product registrations worldwide, with 1,014 further applications pending at various stages. Its portfolio covers herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and biocides, and the agrochemical segment contributed 87 percent of FY2025 revenue, with the remainder from a non-agrochemical division.

For the financial year ended March 2025, Sharda reported revenue of INR 4,320 crore, up 37 percent year on year, with Europe contributing INR 2,177 crore, NAFTA INR 1,227 crore and Latin America INR 191 crore. EBITDA more than doubled to INR 682 crore at a margin of 15.8 percent, and the company ended the year debt free with INR 558 crore in cash, bank balances and liquid investments. Capital expenditure in FY2025 stood at INR 420 crore, with FY2026 guidance of INR 400 to 450 crore.
