Amino Acid Water-soluble Fertilizer含氨基酸水溶肥料

An amino acid water-soluble fertilizer is a water-soluble fertilizer based on free amino acids with secondary or micro elements added in proportions suited to plant growth. It is divided into a micro-element type and a calcium type according to the nutrient added. It is governed by the agricultural industry standard NY 1429-2010.

Key points

  • Micro-element type: free amino acid content at least 10% in solid and 100 g/L in liquid form; total content of at least two micro elements at least 2.0% in solid and 20 g/L in liquid form.
  • Calcium type: the amino acid requirements are the same as for the micro-element type, with calcium at least 3.0% in solid and 30 g/L in liquid form.
  • Amino acids may be of plant, animal or microbial fermentation origin; the source and hydrolysis process affect the proportion of free amino acids and are a principal source of product quality differences.
  • Each of the five water-soluble fertilizer categories has its own standard, and the declared standard number should be checked against the product type: NY 1106-2010 (humic-acid), NY/T 1107-2020 (macronutrient — revised in 2020 and converted from mandatory to recommended), NY 1428-2010 (micronutrient), NY 1429-2010 (amino-acid) and NY 2266-2012 (secondary-element). Only the macronutrient standard has been revised; the other four remain in force in their 2010–2012 editions.
